Expecting bad news from Yahoo in the conference call tonight since Google seems to be cutting into a good portion of their profits. I think the outcome on the price of the stock will be not so much on earnings but forward guidance.
Just picked up 20 Feb 20 puts, lets the bad news roll.....fingers crossed

Last time I looked Yahoo was UP by roughly 50%. I sincerely hope you got rid of your puts in time!

If not: add it to the long list of reasons why to hate Microsoft... :goodnight:

Look at the dates? It was on the 29rd and on the 29rd it went down 8%.

yeah I sold em the next morning after the earnings release for aprox 800 bucks profit, im kind of an instant gratification type of guy & can't hold onto winners too long, unfortunately that is my biggest downfall. My biggest mistakes haven't been buying losers but selling winners or what I thought were flatliners too soon. In this case it worked out well.
