Trying to get feedback on anyone that has used Investtools or Top Trader programs. How good they are and such. Top Trader says they have a guarantee, is it too good to be true?

I could say that without even looking at the web site.

After going to the web site, I still have the same opinion.

Many 'entrepreneurs' take common knowledge and repackage it into an 'education program'. That doesn't mean that what they are selling is 'a bad thing'. But, most often, what they are selling is overpriced.

When that repackaged knowledge is linked to a performance guarantee, the word 'scam' just seems to leap to the fore.

Frankly, the 'prey' here are lazy investors. They don't want to go through the necessary steps of learning how to invest. They want a short-cut to instant riches. [You know what, every 'scam' depends upon the laziness and greed of the patsy.]

Rocherosa, I'm not saying that you are a lazy investor or that you are greedy. After all, you raised a flag here, and that is to your credit.
I am saying that it takes work to learn how to be an investor. Moreover, most of the lessons needed are available for free, or for minimal cost.
There is no need to pay thousands of dollars for this knowledge.
And there is a huge amount of knowledge available for free on this forum.

Of course, you can just pay for a 'short-cut' and then start investing.
Now that can be costly!

Netwrangler,
Ignorance is pretty pricey as well. I actually am in the program, unlike you who have never even traded before by the sound of it. I am doing well so far with the strategies Ive learned being in the program. Top Trader has done everything they said they would do and more. Get the facts before you offer your FREE uneducated ignorant advice!

Ignorance is indeed pricey. Jumping to conclusions is the first derivative of ignorance.
Tell us and the original poster what benefits you have gleaned from the program, what "being in the program" entails, and maybe anything you might think of that would prepare someone who is considering entering the program.

Excellent elementary use of your first post moneymagnet, you have quickly impressed the hell out of everyone:top:

And did you join OTF simply for the one time opportunity of posting this horrifically ignorant blather? To take a wisely worded cautionary statement to ruckerosa from one of our most respected members, Netwrangler, and twist its intention to satisfy your need for a self ingratiating retort?!! Please!

It is incredible to me that you would jump on board in such a hurry to defend a post you did not make, a question you did not pose, and a member you do not know?! I believe it reveals quite clearly who you are and what your intentions are... you are the hack that runs TopTrader or investtools and you are trying to save face!

Please let the door hit you on the A** on the way out!

We don't need more of this crap Thierry.

Is it true the Top Trader program is $11,000? And the woman who apparently teaches it is Adrienne Toghraie. She is a practitioner of neuro-Linguistic Programming, a "quasi science" closely related to hypnosis. It is not a trading methodology, but a way for traders to "control" their behavior. It is NOT recognized as a legitimate methodology by the american Psychiatric Association.
I would say that these things raise doubts not only of the program itself, but of it's advocates and it's registrants. It seems more mind control than trading methodology.
I am a strong believer in the "discipline is the most important thing in trading" but paying so high a fee to achieve it through questionable techniques raises flags at the very least.

Simple questions:

1). Drawdown expected?

2). Scalability?

3). Must ALL signals be excuted?

Too easy man...and it doesn't even reveal the strategy (that's called a nice fat softball in the journalism world).

Batter up.

Oh, and before jumping to conclusions....this is not skeptisism of the system of any way. If you think that, re-read the post.

So, what did they say they would do?

What did they do that was more?

And was this guaranteed?...and this guarantee fulfilled? The OP said there was a guarantee. Was the OP mis-informed?

Moneymagnet, I'll go double-down against any 'system' or 'service' that offers 'guaranteed' results. There are only two possibilities:

They will not honor the guarantee
The 'so-called' guarantee does not cover what you would think it does.
So let's figure out which option applies here.

You tell me.

I am inclined to believe the OP was genuinely interested, but the other guy moneymagnet is very likely a shill. I am surprised there is no link in his post.
If he does come back don't look him directly in the face or you could end up acting like a chicken on stage at the tropicana.
