So today on CNBC, Ken Heebner made an appearance and recommeded an amazing stock I suggest everyone go buy, PBR. (i've been long for quite some time and just picked some more up recently for my investment portfolio) But anyway, this isn't about PetroBras it's about Ken Heebner.. this guy is up over 80% YTD.

What do you guys think about trailing him into invesments? I've been looking for his holdings, but the best I could come up with was on Stockpickr, which does not represent what he said today to the fullest.

Just wondering if anyone trakced him, etc.

All I know about the guy is the commercial where the two guys are fencing and the one says that CGM Realty fund is managed by Ken Heebner.

I think piggybacking him would prove pretty difficult as mutual funds are only required to open their books at the end of the year to show there clients (prospective clients more appropriately) what stocks they were in and hence why we see marking up (which is what I presume is happening to WFR).

Heebner is the original Madman of Wall St. You would be well served to read everything this guy has ever written. He does enough appearances on the various Business outlets to get an idea of his current picks. Here is a site that follows him

He was 2007's guru of the year. Note also that Heebner has been great for a long time and has actually gotten better as he's gotten older.

For those of you who don't know him, he's been the stuff of legend for 20 years. If I were a mutual fund investor the CGM focus fund would be a top pick.

Just one day...but his focus fund was down a mere 1 penny today - pretty good for such a bad day :) This guy really is good from the looks of it - Cramer featured him in his recent book as most of you might already know.

Not for the faint of heart that fund, but people looking for some aggressive risky growth...hell yea.
