After 3 years of enjoying "CramerLand," here is what I found:
Suck up his wisdom, but...
Do NOT buy his picks solely based upon "Mad Money," unless you know how to do the homework on your own or can afford his $400 a year Alert newsletter--Why? Just when you need his help, he will be off, or no caller will ask about the stock
Remember with drug stocks, a small drug company's Phase III Clinical Drug Trials can be shut down out of the blue--regardless the great story Cramer can weave
Cramer is excellent with energy and tech stocks
Cramer makes mistakes, usually not following his own advice, so when he goes against "1" above, watch it
Remember Murphy's Law rules whenever you buy a stock
Remember Murphy will at times let you win, so you will get cocky, forget "1" above, and he can really cream your behind
Many stocks Cramer picks are fillers to separate the ads -- You can spot these fillers by him mentioning them once and you never hear of the stock again
Note the stocks he mentions often, but remember "2" above
When Cramer talks about the P/E relation to Growth, he is talking about the PEG ratio which is much easier to understand
Wait at least 1.5 days, then around 11 am (est) to buy, so you will not get caught in the Cramer Bounce
