I was just wondering if the stock market is open for a full day on 12/31/2007 or is it going to be a half day, please.

From what I can tell the market closes early on Christmas Eve but not on New Year's Eve.

From what I can tell the market closes early on Christmas Eve but not on New Year's Eve.My broker is telling me "some bond and mutual fund trading will end early on Monday" the 31st. My understanding is that pre-market trading, the regular trading session, and after-market trading will take place as usual on the 31st.
