Ola from the land of snow!!!! Popped into the chat at lunch to throw out GTOP

They were heading into a conf call at 5:00pm EST about Phase III ClinTrials on MyVax immunotherapy drug for non-Hodgkins B-Cell Lymphoma and trading in the $2.50 range.

Well, well, well... at 4:00pm EST they released a headline that read "MyVax misses endpoint in Phase III trials", so needless to say it dropped to the value of a breath mint in about 5 seconds.

The board, for some reason, reads a LOD of $1.02, but I can tell you I watched it hit .88 a few times... YES, I bought at $2.46, but I wanted to wait for the conf call. During the conf call I bought healthy chunks twice and am now averaged at 1.31... and here is why...

They did indeed miss their endpoint of MyVax being a bowling ball to knockout B-Cell in every patient in both control groups... However, MyVax Immunotherapy delivered to individuals specifically targeting each individuals antiobodies showed an incredible immunoresponse over the test period with sustained and continued immunoresponse to treatment!!!

In English... Statistically they have discovered a therapy that boosts immunoresponse in patients against B-Cell Lymphoma cancer at unprecedented levels and they are approaching the FDA for the next steps to market MyVax Immunotherapy treatment.

Now it may sound like I am pumping because I lost and I need my money back but as I sit here and type GTOP is moving upward and has sold quite a few shares .15 north of my buy price so I could have gotten out... NO, I am waiting to see what happens... I'm not dreaming, no pie in the sky, I don't predict they will rocket, it simply could be a 2 or 3 bagger at the current pps.

We'll see, I was actually pretty excited... of course we'll see how I feel when and if it dips to .30 but hey, this one was a fun risk and I thought I better let all you forum junkies know about it.

Guyz, check this out!!!!!! Some of you may remember in a post several months back when I was offering a vociferous rebuttal to our beloved Cramerica, I mentioned I had a friend who was suffering from years of B-Cell Lymphoma cancer. So I naturally told him about GTOP and the Phase III results so he could check them out (for health, not money :))...

Guess What... he was part of the original double blind study with Genitope 6 years ago!!!! He just sent me an email not 15 minutes ago with a letter attached that he sent out to his physicians (at MSTI where he is going for another treatment round on Dec 26th), after listening to a recorded message of the conf call. I just thought this was pretty cool (it may not help the stock at all, but I thought you would all be interested on a personal level)...

I just found it so amazing and interesting that my daytrading and his struggle for life and health crossed paths today...

Attn: Jill and Dr. Kreisle:

Today, Genitope held an analysts conference call about their trial drug they now call MyVax.

This was the Phase 3 trial that I participated in 6 years ago. I still do not know whether I was in the drug-arm or the control arm of the double-blind, randomized study. It is a drug specifically aimed at B-Cell Follicular Lymphoma, my type.

The summary information from the conference call is:

The original studies, prior to the P3 study, go back to Stanford M.C. in 1988.
Genitope now has a very active and safe drug in MyVax.
In the arm that received the drug, they had a 40% positive immune response rate.
In that positive response group they are predicting 90% survival at 10 years after receiving the drug and possibly a life-long remission.

They plan to file for FDA approval in the summer of 2008 to get the drug available to B-Cell Follicular Lymphoma patients ASAP. (So, even if they get FDA’s rapid approval, it will probably be at least a year before it is available.)

I don’t yet know if I will be able to find out if I was in the drug-arm group that did not have the positive immune response (60% of the group given the drug) or if I was in the control arm (not given the drug but given some kind of an immune stimulator instead.) I assume one or the other, since I had a fairly rapid recurrence. Can MSTI be of any help in trying to obtain this information for me?

Dr. Kreisle will be interested in listening to the conference call. It is about 45 minutes in length and one can access it here: (Just copy this http and paste it into the browser address line.)

I am doing my lymphoma biopsy surgery with Dr. David Brown on the morning of December 26th and then will follow-up with you on January 4th. I presume that is enough time to get the pathology report to MSTI.

Merry Christmas to you both.

Thanks,

Well, buying more shares at the price of one Altoid, I am averaged down to .91

been hovering at .80 - .84

So with a minimal amount of retrace after this fall from the cliff, I should be okay and maybe even end up with profit... ? I'll look at it after the New Year.

Merry Christmas all... its a White one here!!!! :)
