green bars red bars?

hey i look at my chart on etrade and i see the green bars. does that mean people are buying or selling? im sure the red bar means the oposite so if you could just tell me what one or the other ment then i wouldnt need to know both.

What kind of charts are you looking at? Usually, green means up and red means down, or green means buy and red means sell. You have to describe the chart in question.
