Is it drug altered? Perhaps, but perhaps not. I'll not judge that.

My question is, "Why this forum for your kite-flying posts?"

Sure, the answer is, "Why not? And that is a valid answer. Still I wonder what motivates you to swim upstream as you do. Sex? That's for the fish. There must be some other reason.

Well, who knows? I certainly don't, and I don't think you do either. I'll help you work it out if you like. :?

Perhaps like the Mods of the sixties, a struggle for individualism while fighting the angst of puberty.

Me too, perfect.
Actually an elegant solution to the problem, if he responds to a newbie with his usual claptrap the forum clown moniker will act as an explanation.
Here's a potential avatar for gzap

the avatar label is cool- i remember always being envious of booyah's "valued contrarian" tag. i know thierry cant give us all specials, but id like "forum pain in the arse" if we get dibs.

as for zap, i hope he sticks around. i see his postings as no less ridiculous then some of the clap trap some of our regs have been peddling. or any less appealing to the "newbie poster."

as always, best wishes.

You're going to have to be a lot more antagonistic than that to get "forum pain in the arse"

the most logical avatar would be the deer of heron on the sidelines of a water theme park pertusion.. i would say that aside from the actual animal we could put up 5 curtains in a meatball parm sub and fend off the hungry people who dislike cheddar cheese in the sewage dump of an elavator sandwich with no grass seeds in a forest
