So here's the IP address that is attempting to sign up that same e-mail address that I originally registered here with:

67.165.121.2

Seattle on the traceroute...again...what a coincidence eh?

Do you want to tell me who recently visited the forum from that IP address?

Guaranteed the spineless piece of $hit read that thread where I brought this episode up just the other day, this guy ain't the brightest bulb at being covert is he?

Here is a sample of one of the 50 or so emails I've received over the last 3 or 4 minutes...just like last time:

Are you going to do something about it this time?

Mailing list subscription confirmation notice for mailing list
Voter-news

We have received a request from 67.165.121.2 for subscription of your
email address, "tmoun1@tampabay.rr.com", to the
voter-news@lists.uua.org mailing list. To confirm that you want to be
added to this mailing list, simply reply to this message, keeping the
Subject: header intact. Or visit this web page:

http://lists.uua.org/mailman/confirm/voter-news/8d9fd17cad3510dade902a2d91541f5ce163ee86

Or include the following line -- and only the following line -- in a
message to voter-news-request@lists.uua.org:

confirm 8d9fd17cad3510dade902a2d91541f5ce163ee86

Note that simply sending a `reply' to this message should work from
most mail readers, since that usually leaves the Subject: line in the
right form (additional "Re:" text in the Subject: is okay).

If you do not wish to be subscribed to this list, please simply
disregard this message. If you think you are being maliciously
subscribed to the list, or have any other questions, send them to
voter-news-owner@lists.uua.org.

What's the matter Jazen? Are you a little butt hurt from the sodomizing the market has been giving you since this brilliant post back on 8.5.07?

Lenders aren't melting, good buying opp. if you ask me, you should position yourself overweight with CFC right now.
Really.

Feeling the need to lash out at me? Does it put the money back in your account? Buwahahahaha, what a pathetic loser and pitiful trader you are showing yourself to be.

Btw, I already had a contingency plan for your possible return and ensuing antics, so keep on spending your time worrying about me, those e-mails are no longer going to my Outlook Express inbox, losers like yourself are so predictable.

TonyM you just need to send the information to the ISP that hosts that IP address - they take complaints like that seriously. Do you need help finding the host or provider? The only problem is that it may be a dynamic address, however they can find who had it by the date and time.

Jazen hasn't logged in since 10.18.07, obviously he's just lurking without logging in. Do you remember when this happened the first time that it was a Seattle IP address? Can you search all guest IP addresses for a match?

I've referred the matter to the abuse team at my ISP and funneled those emails back to their web mail system since it is only a back up address and of no consequence to me.

There is nothing more I can do. I looked up Jazen and he used 11 different IPs and none of them match 67.165.121.2 - three of them were in Washington but there are thousands of users with Washington IPs. Your best bet is to lodge your complaints and hope they track the troublemaker that is signing you up to mailing lists.

Ok, thanks for trying. As I said it is a minor inconvenience at best, I have multiple e-mail addresses and letting go of this one is about as bothersome as losing a sock in the dryer. However I will forward the information to his ISP, assuming it's not a proxy. I guess I can take solace in the fact that he has to have spent at least an hour signing me up all over the web, who's controlling who eh?
