I've been watching this one for a bit. Here is there current status from their latest SEC filing. It is followed by a link to a news article yesterday about a new contract they have just entered which could provide substantial revenues. Maybe not one to buy right now, but just thought I'd make you aware of it while its cheap and has no revenue before it possibly has a big pay day in the future. Closed yesterday @ .1411. They have about 42 million shares outstanding.

Current Company Status as of SEC filing on August 10th:

"At this time, Clear Skies has no active commercial projects under construction. Our last contract was completed in December 2008, except for
several small residential projects that were ordered from us in 2007 or before and have been delayed for a variety of reasons. We had no
revenue in the first quarter of 2009, except for the sale of approximately $11,000 of excess solar panel inventory and we had no revenue in the
second quarter of 2009. It is not certain when we will begin generating revenues again. We are negotiating with several parties for the
financing and construction of a number of solar energy projects, however there can be no assurance that we will be successful in these
negotiations or that such projects would be profitable. Even if we are successful in negotiating finance and construction agreements, since we
recognize revenue under the percentage of completion method, it could be several months after signing before we begin performance and are
able to report revenue on our financial statements.
As of July 31, 2009, our available balance of cash and cash equivalents was approximately $61,000 which amount is after receipt of the
proceeds from a financing closed as of July 28, 2009 (the “July 2009 Financing”). See Note 4. Liquidity and Capital Resources and Item 2 –
Management’s Discussion – Liquidity and Capital Resources. Notwithstanding the receipt of $260,000 from the July 2009 Financing, our sale
of convertible notes in May 2009 (the “May 2009 Financing”) for gross proceeds of $400,000 and for borrowings of $282,464 in the first half
of 2009 from an unrelated third party, we will need to raise additional funds to pay outstanding vendor invoices and operating expenses. Our
future cash flows depend on our ability to enter into, and be paid under, contracts for the construction of solar energy projects and our ability to
sell our debt and equity securities on terms satisfactory to us. While management believes these can be accomplished, there can be no
assurance that we will be successful in entering into construction contracts or selling our securities, in which case we will probably not be able
to continue as a going concern."

Looks good guys.... Looks like it just broke out of the bull flag too. Let's see if it can get some legs.

I usually get burned on penny stocks though so I don't think I'm going to trade it.

Reached .24 today. Still a long term investment here. I would watch for a bit of a pull back later this week before buying more.

Reached .24 today. Still a long term investment here. I would watch for a bit of a pull back later this week before buying more.

Came down a bit later than I expected. Actually peaked at .28, I sold some at .26 after getting in at .16 back in September. Its back down to .18 and I'm looking to add more here soon.

Its been awhile since I've talked about this one. Last week the CFO bought up some shares. On Friday volume was over 1 Million. I helped contribute to that. As you can see from previous posts this has been a stock I've liked, owned before, and will continue to be interested in, in the future.

Hopefully with this recent action, we'll hit a few scanners and get some buildup towards a bit of a run going into February. Shareholders Meeting is March 10th. People buying up more shares for voting power.

Also, they should be about done with the Microdyne Plastics Project which was a 4.8 million dollar contract.

Up another 13% yesterday on over 2 million in trade volume. My short target is .20, I'll take some off the table if it hits. My long target is .30.

An update today from the CEO and a 2010 outlook:

"Clear Skies Solar Issue Letter to Shareholders
Company Expecting Substantial Revenue Growth in 2010

Dear Fellow Shareholders:
As a new year begins, we would like to provide you with an update and perspective on the progress of Clear Skies Solar to position itself as a successful, sustainable and dynamic solar energy provider.
As all of us are well aware, during the past 18 months there has been a considerable upheaval in many of the world's financial markets. Specifically, during much of 2009, there was a near complete freeze on capital for project and general financing for our clients. Without available credit in the markets, our clients had no means of closing on our contracts and we were not able to provide the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) tool, which is a form of third-party financing that has driven the solar industry for many years. Of course, this situation significantly affected our revenue generation during the past year. Nonetheless, we are very happy to say that CSS was able to successfully navigate its way through the financial crisis, thereby avoiding the predatory and toxic lending practices that other firms have had to implement in order to complete client projects. In summary, we have kept our management team intact and our operations have remained strong.
Only in the past few months has much changed as the economy in general, and the financial services sector in particular, is emerging from the recent global crisis. The credit markets are clearly starting to open-up and we now have several large projects which are in the final stages of approval and, while there can be no assurance of ultimate installation, we are very positive about the prospects for our future. In fact, we currently have more than $100 million of active proposals and are becoming increasingly positive relative to the conversion of a substantial portion of this into actual revenues to be posted during 2010.
With the extension of the Federal Investment Tax Credit ("ITC") through 2016, the introduction of many state and local government incentives, record low solar module prices and general renewed interest in solar energy, the market environment for solar power implementation has, in our opinion, never been brighter. We are seeing considerable interest in new projects and it appears that many projects that had been placed on hold due to the financial crisis are now being restarted. As a result, we are expecting to realize considerable revenue growth during 2010.
We would also like to reassure the shareholders that we are poised to take advantage of the above noted positive trends within the solar industry, which we believe will result in substantial near-term market share gains as we continue to deliver high quality solar projects throughout the expanding solar energy marketplace. We urge all of our shareholders to closely monitor our upcoming announcements. We believe 2010 will be an exciting year for Clear Skies Solar, Inc.
Sincerely,
Ezra Green
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
SOURCE Clear Skies Solar, Inc."

The stock is currently hovering around the .16-.18 range.

Finally broke out of its down trend, its currently at .13. The rumor is, a bit of dilution may have brought this down more than it should have. I'm glad I buy at support levels though. I picked some more up last Friday. Tomorrow should be an interesting day going into the after hours conference call. I am expecting very positive info during this conference call. Looking forward to hear about upcoming projects and the reason for selling shares to raise capital.
