I'm new to penny stocks, and tired of getting reamed by Scottrade. Any suggestions for a better online trading company? I know of Lowtrades ($5) and Zecco (free?). Any others I should consider? Also, what are some good sites to find information on penny stocks? Thanks.

You should try the stock trading robot. Or better yet, click any link on this site. Can't lose. Pennies are the key to riches.

I've never heard of scottrade reaming someone. Bad visual.

Maybe you should try IB. A share traded costs about as much as one you will buy. $.005 /share

Or you could search this forum and find the 30,000 posts with the same topic.....for starters.

Just tryin' to help a fella .

Damn your merciless Luc1:wink:... it's makes me all warm inside:D

All kidding aside Marcuse... oh wait, I'm not kidding... anyway...

I only give you this advice so when you leave this forum and go elsewhere you'll understand that there is actually an unstated and logical protocol to be followed before you sign up and poop out a new thread.

First, search the forum and see if the information you seek has been discussed and your question answered before you ask it. Luc1 was exaggerating a bit when he said there were 30,000 posts about this new topic you presented... I just did a search and there were only just over 28,000.

Next, introduce yourself in the proper thread, post some comments on other threads and take part in the ongoing community here and get a feel for things. For the most part this is a welcoming forum with many patient members who won't denigrate you for being ignorant.

NEVER join any forum and with your first post start a thread and ask advice... no one will take you seriously and you won't get your question answered... as you have witnessed here.

Lastly, head on over to elite trader and ask those guys, they're real patient over there:wink:

Zecco is a good brokerage, $4.50 a trade or 10 free trades a month if you have a balance of $2500 in your Zecco account.

Since you went to www.elitetrader.com (http://www.elitetrader.com) you no doubt saw the posts on Tim Sykes. There you go. DVD for 299 smackers and the road to penny stock riches if yours.

Of course you saw the response from traders, ha!! You can't write brutal comedy like that!!

Micro = Hitler? Damn, that's a little rough in this PC world don't ya think.

had Luc1 fitted for a pair of jackboots, but with my back against the execution wall, i had to pull the trigger. maybe ignorant and impatient, but lampshade material i am not.

pennystocks are for lazy schemers, get-rich-quick dreamers (read: DS subscribers). that was me yesterday (no worries -- got back my $47), and will probably be me again tomorrow. but today...today i turn over a new leaf.

sincerest apologies to microhedge and anyone else offended by my references to totalitarianism -- just a little road rage on the information super-highway. there are no fascists on OTF. so, keep the mustache micro. they're back in style.
