AAPL looks to gap down. If so, watch it for the fill on a 1 minute. Easy profit in that alone.
Also an entry (somewhat risky) for a longer term run especially during wacky-fed-week. 183 shows promise.
That gap on the daily is a little scary though.

Looks like it's going to gap up after all. Funny that you mentioned the gap on the daily after earnings. I didn't notice it before, but RIMM had a similiar gap after earnings and subsequent filling of said gap after earnings (on that day when the market tanked 5% and came back). AAPL might follow suit, but maybe not if the Fed cuts 50 points again. With a 25 point cut, it may dip slightly, and I don't want to think what a non-cut would do to the stock market....

just got back on and it is gapping up. Love this guy. Still, watch the fill, but a little less probable on gap ups. :)
This has consolidated a bit after the earnings gap. Momentum with mac is the real kicker (long). Time will tell.

For covered call investors, gaps down are an opportunity to buy back the call in a covered call position; then resell the call when the gap fills in. If the gap doesn't fill in, well, it's easier to Stop out of the position completely if the call is gone.

Fast approaching the 52 week high (188.60). Also forming a 6 day ascending triangle at 188. Fed rate cut may send this well over the top.

Triangle left behind in the dust. Knocking at 190.
What will it do at 200? Funny, I remember saying that exact thing about Google (at 300) not so long ago!
