I;m fundie challenged this a.m. and out the door.

Anyone shed some light on the gap? It just broke res, so this is pretty low risk with an easy determined stop.

Altria is the holding company of Philip Morris USA, PMI, Philip Morris Capital and its 89% stake in Kraft Foods, which currently trades on its own. Altria will distribute that Kraft stake to shareholders on March 30.

This from a March 16, 2007 Barron's article. :)

MO is a play on recession. Look at PG recently. It has had quite a run for such a large cap slow mover. Money is flowing in as there are fewer and fewer places to put it. The institutions can only own so much tech and oil futures. Look for more stocks like this to do well over the next 6-12 months.
