I was on Urban Outfitters website and jeeze they must have the UGLIEST clothing I've ever seen. I was short this a while back, just curious to see if anyone likes/dislikes this company. I may look at the financials to see why this company is making money because I dont see why anyone would buy from them. :!:

Ohhhh, Oldy McOldhead, the kids LOVE that stuff! The "geek chic" look is in. I go in there every so often and pick up stuff. Urban Outfitters is probably the ONLY place where kids that try to look original go to look like every other original kid that shops there. When I say kid, I guess I mean high school and college. The prices are kind of steep and they do have a ton of funky housewares. It's like a smaller department store with unique, one of kind artsy fartsy items. Like the stuff you only find in smaller boutiques. I remember shopping there when I was 16 and they were cool then too. As far as buying, I wouldn't. No real action in the past couple years. Too slow for my blood. But what do I know, just because I trade doesn't mean I have the slightest idea of what I'm doing.

And who's this Elvis guy shaking hips all sexual-like? We will have NONE OF THAT in this house!

I don't own the stock but my teenage daughters are big contributors to their bottom line. We had a couple days in San Francisco on our way back from Australia this summer, and the most important thing for them was to see the stuff they had in the Urban Outfitters there.
