Hopefully it will be easy tomorrow for the market to move up on this great report from MSFT. All the computer makers are up as well as well as other tech stocks. Here's to a good weekend that starts tomorrow!

You knew when Intel, AMD, Logitech and Best Buy had very good quarters and that Halo sales were incredible that Microsoft would beat their numbers rather easily. Plus PC sales were way up worldwide.

Here's Fast Money's take on the MSFT news:

I'm holding onto my MSFT shares for now. It's now an under-owned, growth, value play. Possible pin action plays would be HPQ, DELL, INTC and BBY.

I'm very happy. Even with the CELG dip this week, I've had my best week ever in the stock market thanks to MSFT and ARTG. Homework and patience finally pays off.

I've been without internet since tuesday and come back to this pleasant surprise! Figured earnings would be good, but this is amazing. Excellent birthday present M$, as my birthday was thursday.

I've been in at 25.7 for two years with a large portion of my portfolio. My original price target was $35, certainly has taken awhile to get there, but I don't think I will cash out just yet.

Anyone have thoughts on this position? I am considering selling half my position if it gets to 40, and keeping the rest long term.

I'm still holding my position. I'm waiting for $40 too. It sounds like you have a good plan. I think fair value for MSFT is around $43-$45.
