well I have been following yahoo for recently, i like that original CEO are back and they should get the company turn around. 3qtr earnings came.. not great but I think they will start moving up.. trying catch up with Google, Amazone, ebay.. I got in at $26-27 right before the earnings... also bought more shares recently at $29.

my prediction.... $35 by 2008???

i have been selling few of my non performing biotech stocks and some retails.

also Yahoo owns about 40% stake in Alibaba which is about to go IPO in early Nov... this could add some cash flow for yahoo and boost share price.
Considering chinese IPO are hot....

Ohter than Alibaba, I don't know what the catalist is for this company that has been wrong and loosing share to the Goog for the last year.
I find this to be a great trade based on hype or peoples feelings, not actual business decisions. I still am wary of long term based on their past consistency.
