View Full Version : Doublingstocks.com Won't refund my money.

I started a separate thread for this so it can be found in a google search. Here is my experience with the so called "Money Back Guarantee" that doublingstocks.com offers:
Doublingstocks.com offers a newsletter for $47 dollars which comes with a 8 week money back guarantee. Doublingstocks.com did not honor this guarantee.
I opened a support ticket to get my refund for the $47 dollar newsletter from www.doublingstocks.com. After not receiving a reply to my email I logged into my account and checked the status of the support ticket from doublingstocks.com. It's status had been changed from "open" to "closed" and I had not received a reply or refund.
Instead of opening another support ticket at doublingstocks.com I simply changed the status to "open" and the priority to "high" thinking maybe someone would read it now that it's "high" priority. The next day I received no reply and when I checked the status it was changed to "closed" again.
I figured they must have other people to deal with so this time I reopened the ticket and put the priority as "Emergency". The next day I had the same deal from doublingstocks.com. No reply and the ticket had been closed again with no refund.
So I thought... maybe an "Emergency" is not enough to get a response from doublingstocks.com because they are too pre-occupied with finding stocks that will gain 100% overnight. So this time I reopened the ticket and set the priority to "Critical" (the highest level). There has still not been a response so I contacted Clickbank (they provide a payment gateway to small internet companies that can't afford a real payment gateway, like paypal) and asked for a refund of my money plus told them to stop accepting payments for doublingstocks.com. Maybe they need the following added as a priority level to have someone notice it and get a response out to me: (Super-High Critical-Emergency Server-Meltdown Nuclear War Risk). Unfortunately that doesn't exist.
Maybe they should have taught their supercalafragalisticexpialidotious Stock picking robot (code name MARL) to automate refunds for them at least then he would be worth the server space at doublingstocks.com.
The reason they have never had to give a refund is not because no one has asked but because they simply won't do it.
My take is stay away from doubling stocks!

In addition to the above doublingstocks.com also offers a $20 paypal directly to your account if you read through their sales page and are not satisfied. All you need to do is simply send an email to them asking for either $20 or $40 to the salvation army. I have not received my $20 in my paypal account yet. I have not received a refund for the Newsletter or for MARL (the super AI stock picking robot). So until I receive it I have decided to freely distribute their program (MARL) openly on torrents, rapidshare, gigasize, etc.
Here is a link to download MARL:
http://rapidshare.com/files/63421822/downloadmarl.zip.html
Some things you should know about MARL the stock picking robot:
MARL the stock picking robot can be downloaded above. Yes Download
MARL the stock picking robot above for free.
Download MARL the stock picking robot for free and install it. Be careful where you install because you can not be sure if it's collecting info about you.
Download MARL the stock picking robot for free then click "start analysis" to make it "analyze" picks.
MARL the stock picking robot is about 25 MB.

Download MARL the stock picking robot for free and you will see the size is about 25 MB.
Download MARL the stock picking robot for free and be awed by it's stock picking ability
Download MARL the stock picking robot for free and try it out.
Download MARL the stock picking robot for free why pay?
sorry to be repetitive in my posts. It's only so the search engine crawlers will find this text and display this post higher up on the page. This is to help inform people about this scam newsletter. It's funny how one bad post from a customer can destroy a company, a bogus one at that but whatever.

So Thierry, why are you still affiliated with these goons and continue to advertise them on your site?
I believe the question has been answered to your very first thread on this company....with the link. ;)

You can request a refund directly from Clickbank (http://www.clickbank.com/csinquiry.html). If that doesn't get it, a chargeback through your credit card company should be possible.

I have been a affiliate through Clickbank for many years and they ALWAYS give no question asked refunds. (You may, however, not be able to purchase through them again in the future.) Don't bother going through Doublingstocks.com, they are only interested in finding a solution to your complaint. (which may include delaying a response, or maybe they take a while to process refunds, I don't know.) Only Clickbank will refund your money immediately.

So doublingstocks.crap will force this guy to lose his ability to work with click bank?
Wow, that is twice the posterior pounding for one crappy link and crappy company.
I don't think that kind of speed-of-penetration happens even in prison!
Sorry if I seem a little insensitive. I trend to protect my bottom from pounding.

Hello,
We have recently changed to a support desk and are having problems with it.
Some tickets are bouncing and similar problems. We do issue refunds when requested.

Some other answers I got:
1. How does Marl work? I've used the test version and it looks like it downloads data from a data base ( I'm thinking your office ). Does it actually operate on its own or does it connect through your servers?
2. What is the best time to use Marl? Should I scan while the market is closed or a few minutes asoon as the market opens?
3. Does your company have a phone number?
And the answers:
Hello,
No problem, Marl connects to our servers for the stocks list to scan then operates its own functions on the current stock
data.
Anytime is fine.
Yea but due to high demand we disabled the redirect, we can talk personally in skype if you like.
Best Regards

Yes I emailed clickbank as I said in my first post. They have refunded my money but it hasn't posted to my account yet. I just wanted to test this whole thing out to prove a point. I like the other thread on this and that's why I downloaded the software from them and put their customer service to the test.

Do you want to be dealing with a company that implements technology for their website that doesn't work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You post this as if because of their "New Help Desk" means they don't need to reply to customers.
Why don't they shoot out an email to ALL their subscribers saying that they switched "help Desks" and are having trouble. I still seem to get the stock pick emails without fail.

First off let me say that the only reason they are a scam is because they do not refund money. They do provide picks, which is exactly what people are paying for.
I think most are bogus, no one really knows when a stock is going to go up. People have good hunches and good technical analysis skills. So you if you sign up for a service that gives you that (technical analysis) then I guess it's okay because you are simply paying them to analyze stocks; something you could do yourself with some charting software :?

Amen brother. I think when I tire of trading I will put the marketing degree to the test and sell my "picks" to those who wish to "get rich quick". The market is huge as evidenced by the number of snake oils out there.
The old saying, "the only consistent money maker in the markets is the BROKER" need to include the "stock analysis (ahem) salesman.

I think for the most part when you subscribe to one of these deals you are getting stock picks of an accuracey rate of about 30% and that is pretty good but people don't understand that when a pick is made market sentiment goes along way if that pick is going to pay off or not. + in order for them to push out so many picks they can only give you candidates that look primed to run.
I use a differant method than most which helps narrow down some of the picks to a few a week and thus i wouldn't be able to supply a person with picks daily.
It is possible to find doublers but you are not going to know this ahead of time as i said before "market sentiment" needs to be right, news etc...

Which email are you using to contact them? Because I use doublingstocks@googlemail.com and they reply at the end of the day fyi. Well I signed up never wanting to try Marl really, I just wanted some extra picks up spend my time on. It's nice to see the percent go up anyway :)

No I posted it because they are having trouble with tickets, apparently. Hell I didn't even know they had a ticket system rofl.

Would not refund my money either..I paid $47 plus another $90 to be a beta site user.., In addition, Michael came out with his very own pick - mttg at around 90 cents...within two weeks, it has gone down to 35 cents... OVER 70% LOSS or in other words..needing another 100% gain to break even..three time to get money back, three tickets..totally ignored...SPREAD THE WORD>>>> Also..maybe they are not related..but at the very same time, I am getting spammed on real penny stock picks out of nowhere...for stock PERT and US Navy crap...wow..there has to be a law somewhere doesn't there?

I followed the picks long enough to gather statistical data that proved a 70% plus win rate.
The system is to buy 1000 shares 30 minutes after the open on the day of the pump. Set a mental stop at the bid for 2.5% below purchased price. Do not place the stop because it may get run.
Set a mental limit buy at 2.5% above purchased price. When hit, add 1000 shares and move up mental stop to match 2.5% below averaged cost.
Place a mental sell point at 5% above the original shares price. Sell immediately when hit. Do not add additional shares and do not hold regardless of momentum or volume. It will fall very soon.
Take the number of picks that hit the stop into those running the 5%.
Do not enter ANY trade if it opens more than 5% above previous close. The pump has begun. Let these trades go. There will be more.
Look at the stats. Statistically it works so I will not argue any other points about this scam.
Most of the picks appear to have traded millions of shares, so liquidity is not an issue. This is especially true for those stocks above a dollar.

Finally, someone posts on this forum that thinks outside the box. Exactly the point I have been trying to stress to these so-called know it all's for months now. If the system works, and it does, don't knock it, join it. This is no different of a "scam" than the morons who listen to Cramer each night and rush out to buy his recommended picks at market open the next morning. Anything this "guru" recommends to buy is good for at least a 10% gain within the first couple of hours of trading.
tlsurfsupper, you have made a most informative post for anyone who is willing enough to follow your advice. Once again, the picks from DS or Marl (which by the way you can get, daily, for free on my website below) are good for short term only !!!!!! Do not buy these and hold long term. I don't know how much more I can stress this.
Remember: If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. If you can't understand this, and how it relates to DS or Marl, then my next comment to you would be this: If I had to explain it to you, you wouldn't understand.

I am sure I will be accused of either siding with markay or part of the scam itself.
I am doing neither for those of you "guru's" who wish to express some lame opinion of my motive.
I trade statistics based setups. Who really cares about financials on these? The money is made as with all stocks, selling to the greater fool.
The better contest would have been with real cash at about $20,000 per stock. That would expose the real traders in this crowd. Trades printed and pasted with platform P&L. Too easy.
The program is a scam. It is garbage. If you buy it and don't have a clue as to how to trade, no one on this forum can save you from yourself.
You can profit from the herd if you know how to apply trading skill with the effects of an effective pump.
And no, I do not wish to compete with someone on this board over this scam. It would prove nothing and waste my time. If you wish to challenge the assertion, paper trade it and see for yourelf. It's your money.

I have also been ripped off by DoublingStocks.com. I joined in January and after receiving only one pick and then apologies for not getting a pick, I asked for a refund from both DoublingStocks.com and Clickbank. I never got a reply from either. I did submit another name from another computer and DoublingStocks.com did respond to questions I posed. Also, I got a notice of a future stock pick notice, but I did not get the same notice to my paid membership email address. Doesn't this appear to be a scam? Oh, I have emailed both several times so I guess I have been forgotten; or maybe just screwed!

If you feel you have been "scammed" by DS, simply request a refund from ClickBank. They will give you a full refund, usually within 3-4 business days, as long as your subscription time has been 8 weeks or less. This refund is standard for all items purchased via ClickBank (8 weeks or less).
I don't think you can get a refund if your subscription is longer than 8 weeks, but it may still be worth a try.
This is copied/pasted directly from their (ClickBank) website:
1. What is ClickBank's return policy?
Our official return policy for all ClickBank products is as follows:
ClickBank will, at its discretion, allow for the return or replacement of any defective product within 8 weeks from the date of purchase. For recurring billing products, returns for more than one payment may be provided if requested within the standard 8 week return period. After 8 weeks all sales are final.

Hi All,
I should have read this forum before making my purchase. I bought both the newsletter and Marl.
Marl turned out not to be a robot at all, but just a stock analysis software. I downloaded and installed the data as the instructions suggested, but they do not tell you which indicator to use to pick stocks. There are several indicators under the Filter menu, and none seem to work until you've accumulate 30-60 days' data. So to my way of thinking the product is useless during that initial period.
DS claims that Marl users will get lots of support. I cannot even get complete and understandable instructions on how to use the program. As for automatically picking stocks or automatically trading, it does nothing of the sort. It merely allows you to filter data that you manually download from their site.
All of my questions posted to their support ticket system have been responded to with vague and relevant answers that look to be form letters or pre-planned responses.
Recently I learned there is a trend of Mafia run operations in Florida collecting money through seemingly plausible infomercial sites, that have empty or incomplete products. Due to Florida's legal protections it will be even more difficult there, than in other states, for an out of state consumer to track down and sue or prosecute these guys.
