I used to be on this hours a day....years ago, but your question has me dusting off this site as well. It used too be great for picks and infested with pumpers!
It used to cost to contribute, but looks free now.

An interesting new resource is Stocktwits.com (http://www.stocktwits.com).
It's a free Twitter-based live market commentary made up of user's tweets.
It's not something you could trade off of, but it gives you an idea of where people's heads are at.
Users frequently post pertinent trading related info & news articles.

From a previous post of mine regarding twitter, and specifically stocktwits:
"Had the opportunity to observe the twitter trading community the past couple of trading days, and I found it to be a total waste of time.
Typical BHNC "traders" boasting about taking profits just like most trading chat rooms that are out there, (note that I said most, as that is certainly not true of OTF chat room).
If I get bored enough in the future to tune in again, it's time to load up and take a good long vacation!!!"
JMHO, others may find it entertaining, but certainly nothing to base any trades on.

I concur. It's delayed info & you don't know who these people are.
They do link to actual news at times though. Some may find that helpful, but it's generally not useful for my type of trading.
I am one of the "others" who find it entertaining. I leave it running and participate. It's more of a community thing, and occasionally it might spark a trading idea or two.

Get Bollinger on Bollinger Bands. The stuff you read in the short text from whatever platform you use on indicator tips never covers its real and best use.
I use them on my 1 minute charts all the time now. I only read the book a few months ago.
