I didn't believe in it but I read and started to see the connections. I want to understand so I can position myself.
"The end justifies the means..."
Interesting juncture since Obama now has the presidency. I have to ask the question of what's next? Four more years? Presidency of the North American continent? The Americas? The world?
Eyeballing the Nov 2012 elections. Doesn't this year coincide with the end of the world according to Mayan calendar. I thought the last tidbit funny.

Worthy of note is the Mayans predicted the end of the world with them around to see it. Typical of doomsayers that the end includes them, and punishment from God exacted upon their enemies. I predict the end of the world for 6/14/1974, the day my first girlfriend dumped me. This involves a bit of chronometric legerdemain using the time machine I am working on, and of course when I succeed this post will dematerialize or it will end unexpec

A racially integrated community is a chronological term timed from the entrance of the first black family to the exit of the last white family.
Saul Alinsky
Always remember the first rule of power tactics; power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.
Saul Alinsky
Change means movement. Movement means friction. Only in the frictionless vacuum of a nonexistent abstract world can movement or change occur without that abrasive friction of conflict.
Saul Alinsky
History is a relay of revolutions.

Last guys don't finish nice.
Saul Alinsky
Life is a corrupting process from the time a child learns to play his mother off against his father in the politics of when to go to bed; he who fears corruption fears life.
Saul Alinsky
Once you accept your own death, all of a sudden you're free to live. You no longer care about your reputation. You no longer care except so far as your life can be used tactically to promote a cause you believe in.
Saul Alinsky
Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.
Saul Alinsky
Tactics mean doing what you can with what you have.
Saul Alinsky
The greatest enemy of individual freedom is the individual himself.
Saul Alinsky
We must believe that it is the darkest before the dawn of a beautiful new world. We will see it when we believe it.

In search of power and to maintain power one must keep the most people happy. Democracy is a majority vote.
The healthcare reform that is about to happen will provide universal healthcare. But there is a cost to everything and the cost will be levied against those who have worked, who are working, the businesses, and health care providers among others. Medicare and Medicaid are going bankrupt and those within those programs clamor that the services are inadequate. What will universal health care do? Provide what the masses want.
Redistribution of wealth will be next through taxation. If you don't do anything, lazy, and don't care then you will benefit greatly. If you work hard then soon you'll find reasons not to break your back.
I am not against helping other people but we should be more responsible in doing things. The government doesn't have enough money to cover everyone in a universal heal care system and providers will not agree to operate in the red. The solution after that will be government health care. And if you want to see what this is like then go to the VA hospitals. They are not as bad as they used to be but job security tends to make people lazy. I suppose I could write this better and present myself in the Alinsky way. Maybe next time.

"In the USSR, economic equality was achieved by redistributing wealth, ensuring that everyone remained poor, with the exception of those doing the redistributing. Only the ruling class of communist leaders had access to special stores, medicine and accommodations that could compare to those in the West." - from the article
