Hello
My name is Michael and I was using a Investment Services and there were doing ok but now I just recently receive a settlement for a car accident and have a better payroll to play with . I am looking to start trading online and start investing myself instead of paying someone else. My question is there any software out there that is very good in telling you what stock to pick. I am also looking for a software that will "technical analysis" every stock so I'm not spend all day look at a few stocks.
and my last question is doublingstocks.com (http://doublingstocks.com/go/fiasco) a good program is it really the first Commercially Available Stock Trading Robot
any comment on Stock Trading Software will help
thanks

Nobody uses software to make it easier or faster on picking stocks. Is it just a waste of money.

Anything that has "double your money" in it is a scam and is only to collect your emails to provide spam to your inbox. Never trust anything that asks for your email, free trial, free book, free picks in your email, etc.
I suggest using stock scans, they pick out stocks that meet certain criteria which will allow you to make the best picks in building your portfolio

StockReflex (https://www.plimus.com/jsp/redirect.jsp?contractId=1702470&referrer=tmartin) lets you test your trading skills by replaying years of real historical stock data in minutes. You get an instant read on how your stock picks would have played out.

Isn't this what Vector Vest and Gorilla Trades do? I know Vector Vest was giving a five week trial for $9.99 recently. Depending on the size of your settlement you might want to consider managed money, or a hedge fund. I use Merrill Lynch's Consults platform and am pretty happy.

So, the "Stock Trading Robot" topic has left the penny stock area and entered this one. Complete with links, tsk, tsk.
I would encourage anyone "I don't know" to use stock picking services. I mean, why do the work yourself when someone else can do it all and make you rich?
I'm not talking about screeners.
I would sell you my service, but then again it actually makes money. Why would I want the headaches of customer complaints etc. If a system makes so much money, why are they selling it to YOU???????
If a system makes so much money, why are they selling it to you??????
And don't try the "give something back" or "pay it forward" excuse for profitting.
There are so many "free" tips, just look around.
BS meter starting to ping
My 2 cents.........(nothing for sale here). :)

Hmmmm, of all the thousands of sites, you pick this one (doublingstocks.com"/go/fiasco")? How is the URL extended beyond .com?
Come on man, give me a break here. I can get spam from the local dahl's.

Easy there.....relax a little. Your question seems to hint you are relatively new, but you have used a financial service. Now you are looking for a stock picking service. You do realize you are very much unlike "most" new investors/traders don't you?
With that "stand out" ability, you may want to pick stocks yourself. Why use a Pay service?
I'm a little slow, help me out here.

I read the link to that "Marl" bot and the programmer's name is Michael...not saying its you Flats. Its an interesting service but one I believe you can get by doing your own stock screen. Though you'd need to be pretty savvy with choosing your screen parameters.
When I started trading in 1999, I used a newsletter service and have to admit that it helps when you're first starting out. I figured that if a stock was recommended on one of these services, more people buying will mean more volume. Its tough to find your own penny stock when no one else is looking at it and especially if it is a low volume stock.

I have been useing the financial services but they did all the work all i did was look at what the show me and the graph that the use and there opinion. There company had a program that compaired all the stock history and help them narrowed it down. When I ask them what program they used they said it was just for there company. I am trying to pick the stocks my self and do have a little knowledge but I don't want to jump into this and lose my money. When when the financial services is making me some money. That is why I am trying to find a program that compaires the stock and can est. on what the trend is going to be.
thanks again
Michael

Flats there is no magical solution to trading; nothing that will save you from "experience"... You have to get in just like most of us here did...
Some research, some trial and error, heavy researching, absorb, absorb, absorb... like a sponge.
Watch for awhile, learn the ropes, the terms, the charts; as you gain a little more knowledge, try it out... with a small amount of money and test some theories; don't be all-fired anxious to get big$$$ quickly, that is a horribly risky longshot and can hurt more than you anticipate.
Try the free newsletters and alerts for a bit, see what they have to offer, learn and ABSORB and stay on boards like this one, there is good stuff here from people who have "been there, done that".
You posted in the "Stock Trading Robot" thread in the Penny stock forum, you saw my response to the situation... I can now afford to throw money at every subscription offer to see what happens, see if I can find a gem, most are just scams; don't start throwing your money away on subscription services yet, and if you find a worthwhile one, chances are you are too new to the game to understand the info they would be providing you with.
That's my .02 worth... IMO:)

Thanks for the endorsement micro. When I started investing I got a lot of help from message boards and different websites. I thought about all the things I've learned and wanted to share that on my blog...my contribution to the internet. I have to say that it helps me to remember what I did that trading day or what was going on and what news dominated the wire. In some way I hope that it can help people out on their own investment journey as I know its helped me. Its a learning experience.
