I'm having the worst trading 2 weeks of my life! I feel like taking all my money out of the market and putting it in a CD account! (I don't actually own SGU though - I didn't take the pick very seriously this weekend as I was away skiing!)

I had a repreive from the carnage last week and hit a new record over the old one set Dec 15. Monday was up another 506.60, putting me well into record territory, but Tue everything went sour, mainly giving back my gains on STP, and along with yesterday, I had given back 1481.53. But today has gotten me back almost half, so overall, since Martin Luther King day, up 482. Actually not bad, almost as much as I recieve in social security.

I was waiting to see if you relinquished your play IMGN from last week so I can give er a run! :D I like the fact that fokes is trying to game where DA BOTTOM is on this dawg, RSI back up above 50 off the low of 20, OBV only at a slightly negative -200 on the 20 day chawt, stuff like dat. I guess they's be thinkin that "it has to rally soon after that drop!" :lol: I think it will but we needs to see an atomic drop foist. So I'll see what I can do to drop da bomb on er this week. Me tawget entry for long termers is 2.75 but fo da poiposes of this here game methinks I'll run it at 2.55. :D IMGN @ 2.55 for the entire bankroll! 8O

had to toss IMGN although I made real money on it. entry 2 weeks ago at 4.69 then ran over 5 for the short term bounce. It didn't hit my entry for the weekly challenge until is was on the downhill scream. We'll see this week, I think it has room to dribble at the bottom for a bit. CLWT? Of 5 short term trades I'm eye ballin', I'll use this for the challenge.

Let's say you sold gold at 556 and put da muny into CIEN at 4.00. Let's see where you end up by next Fri. You might luck out and not even get filled on Mon as CIEN may not even see 4.00 for the purposes of this game. Hang in there Jacob :D I suggest you slow it down to the point where you write the things down that need to be done in order of importance. Then concentrate on the first 3 things on da list. IMO, I doan think that lookin for a penny dawg that is gonna triple in a week should be a priority and I hope that isn't one of the top 3 on da list! :D

I see they be shootin fo da 4.75 price top on IMGN going into the earnings report. If it gets taken out into the close you will need alot of courage to hold into after hours trading. Let's see what transpires with GNTA and IMGN. Isn't this fun?!! :D

Bid at 3.09 on GNTA in AH. If I was up 25% I would consider putting in a limit sell at 3.10 just fo safety. GNTA may also run but it looks like it wants to head lower. A break below 2.50ish will prove fatal. :( Oooops! bid back up to 3.12, use 3.10 as a mental line in the sand ayway. If it trades below 3.00 in AH the chances of trouble ahead increase.

You won't get filled on a limit buy order on the way down unless da axed hits your limit price. I say to use a limit as a stop if you already own and have not taken profits because if you set a stop in fast market conditions you don't know what you might end up wit. :D If GNTA was to break below 3.09 on a trading basis I bet you would still get your order filled with a limit sell at 3.09 even if it trades to say 3.02, but you'd have to be paying attention. If you use a straight stop you are at the moicy of da mawket by rule if da axed comes down to your stop limit price. I am also saying that any of you fokes that are trying to trade 5 or 6 positions in current market conditions will find it impossible to stay "focused". :D

Oh well, as that ole song says, "I guess I missed again", but taint no shame in being in cash while you wait fo da next great long term opportunity. I thinks I may have one fo this week's play as it already has broken 15% below the last major support level at 5.00-4.85gap on a gapdown move this past week. With more ugliness sure to transpire in da mawkets this coming week perhaps MOVI will make it through the top of me long term entry tawget and get down to the lower end of me entry range of 3.00-3.35 so I'll put the entire $9864 bankroll on MOVI at 3.05, MOVI 3.05. :D Veeeery risky play for a game like this since I won't be able to make the necessary adjusto if this dawg should continue to move quickly lower. If that happens my tawget will surely have to be lowered. Good thing I'll have da chance to make the change in real $$$ trading though. That's much easier than this paper trading stuff! :lol:

OK put me back in at 1.50 then and i will hold you to it only way to go now is back up lol. Still a good l/t play imo and its on sale thats for sure. FORG watch this one too as it was cut in half last week on news. Read the news to why why it was cut in half then read the dutton update on the stock. If FORG holds 1.75 i will be in. MESV great so far DWOG and POGI coming back time will tell. Best to trade this market for now good luck.

yep. look at yesterdays intraday stock movements, you will see the stock never traded to your entry price.. or maybe i mad an error, but i don't think so. the stock must trade at the price you have as your entry to be qualified.

Well well, MOVI purt near hit the top of me entry tawget today but bein dat I'm a greedy sumbeitch I'm gonna still wish my ill will upon it to bring er down an get er duuuuun! Of course I should also refer you to a post that I put up at the other secton of this site where I made 5 picks for the first Cramer's Mad Money stock pickers challenge in which I picked F, IIG, ANTP, UTSI, and that coffee stock that was getting pummeled just as badly as IIG was although I can't remember da trading symbol. It more than tripled, so did IIG, ANTP doubled, F and UTSI still languished and never hit me tawget, but neither did any of the other 3, although IIG came purty close. That's OK, they'll all be back, and so will MOVI if it thinks it can run witout me! :wink:

Not bad strategery there GDFLS, you can see where my play for last week (MOVI) ended up, so my call for a steep fall was right on tawget. In the end it turned out that even me entry tawget of 3.05 won't be low enough fo this dawg. I would caution you that many of my bottom fishin stocks stage premature rallies just before my entry tawgets eventually get hit. I think everyone remembers IES (now trading under the symbol IESR) and how it came close to me .24 tawget, staged a premie, and then finally collapsed and hit me tawget. That's going to happen with many of my plays. It's a minefield out there and lots of the stuff that da playas at this very board thinks are great plays will in reality be making new 52 week lows. When I start pickin em off I dare ya to short em at that time however.

I guess I will run anudder one of me plays that is gettin oh so close to DA BOTTOM and which could be in da last stages of salamiedom, ISPH. Last major support was at 6.20, getting ready to signal sell and wipe out the attempted rally which put it into buy mode on Fri after last week's gapdown adventure. Me tawget entry range is 3.90 to 4.35 so I'll shoot fo da bottom of me range and bet the entire $9864 bankroll on ISPH @ 3.98 cause you know they's gonna take it belo fo ($4) if it gits anywhere close! :)

I picked my stock in the midst of reading and researching various things on sunday afternoon. I hadn't looked at TWTI when I picked MSGI. I decided that TWTI had more potential this week after I'd already sent in MSGI as my pick. I have nothing against MSGI - it's still good and rumours of news coming out soon could send it much higher. News might not come out until next week though. The news is out on TWTI and the technicals look good better too. I didn't know I couldn't change my pick as long as it was all done before midnight on sunday. Like I say - I don't really care!

I've never watched an entire show because O'Reailly is such an idiot and waaay off base on most of the crap he tawks about. Why is the easy part....because it's gots to. :) When is alot tougher to guage...did you know that AMD has a date with sub $5 sumday? :o BTW, checkout the 10 day chawt on WTSLA to see a clear example of a stock making a higher price high but a lower RSI high than it did at 5.50. Then watch what happens to WTSLA if it doesn't hurry up and giddyup from the current 5.75 area :)
