My daughter went to Honduras for three weeks to perform medical services for a mission there. Right after she got onto the plane to come home a possible coup d'etat was forming, the military arrested the president and seems to be in control. Riots are appearing in the capital, no word about the rest of the country. Her group was detained a military check point where they demand while holding machine guns that the group give them all their money. The director who was a local talked them out of it and they proceded to go to the airport.
She's home now and 15 minutes into our conversations she told us she's going back to help the people there next year. What a heart.
