he says buy railroads. ignoring the possibility of recession, consider- http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/070814/railroad_regulation.html?.v=1
he says buy gadget makers, because business people are immune. again consider one of many common stories-

he says buy miners, because a fed cut would cause the dollar to plummet. again he misses the point, consider- http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNews/idUKN2031350220070820?rpc=44
although i dont care much for either najarian, the point of this post is to always mistrust financial television. best wishes.

Your intentions are noble, however someone must get hurt in order for someone else to profit, Darwinism applies to the marketplace as in other aspects of life. Definitely agreed that financial talking heads are not what one should build their trading plan around, but I'm glad that some do.

I've always hated Darwin's teachings, now I have a personal reason to hate them :-(
Im starting to grow an investors tail and have an urge to climb a tree.......(sigh)

How can Najarian be bearish on Monsanto (MON) one day (2-11/BUY) and bullish the next (2-12/SELL). I watched the episode and didn't hear that anything changed... The more I watch the more I am confused. :dong:

He's a trader through and through (eg. he'll happily sell stock 'X' 30 hours after purchase for a 4% profit). I've even heard the other Fast Money traders kid him about holding stuff for over a month as it's apparently not something he does very often.

i bet he buys and sells stuff within the same day, prolly does more trading then long term investing. Plus he is a big option guy so with calls and puts you can protect yourself a bit more then just buying and selling.

He's likely just trying to exit his positions. Pump-and-dump plain and simple.
