Hi,
My IRA deposit finally made it into my Scottrade account.
Am I too late for JDSU now that it's over $2.50?
Thank you,
Beth Ann

Its definitely on the move...I'd only buy on pullbacks...but don't let my opinion sway you from buying. Have you checked out CNXT? Both are moving in tandem.
dang, i only got this based on cramer. this is "cramersmadmoney.com" right. plus i am new to this whole thing and i wanted excersise of buying and selling.
well, i bought into it cuz it was at 2.37 i figured a ~$2 stock couldn't dive bomb to under 2 faster than i could sell it, and i was willing to take the loss if my gamble didn't work out. so i bought like a couple hundred of em(i shoulda got more). i think it is at 2.70 right now. i think i will hold it for a while as i don't have too much in it.
if u read my other thread u will see i like the sub $10 stocks, not gutsy enough YET to buy above that til i do some more reading.
peace

i bought at $2.60 -- i believe cramer said he thinks it'll gradually climb to $4.00. i can see it at $3+ by year's end

Thank you all for your insights, I appreciate it.
I don't know if any JDSU watchers caught yesterdays news partially quoted below:
"JDSU announced today its collaboration with color scientists from the DuPont Performance Coatings (DPC) team has resulted in the development of DuPont's new Hot Hues(TM) Hot Efx(TM) Brilliantz(TM) line of custom finishes. When adapted for DuPont's exclusive paint formulas, JDSU's SpectraFlair® light diffraction pigments generate the appearance of multiple, bright, rainbow-producing prisms that appear to move over a liquid silver color. The effect is especially appealing to the after market automotive industry."
Optimus25, thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I did purchase CNXT this July and have been having a lot of fun with this one! My son recommended I buy JDSU on that same day, but by that time I had no more moneyleft to invest.
