One nice feature about Strategy Desk is the ability to save and jump between different workspaces.
For example, I put all of my hard and complex number-crunching scans and screeners into a workspace I call "End of Day". I load this when working in the program after-hours, where I want to look for trading setups for the next day or week.
But during market hours, anything that's too computationally intensive will bog down the program. So I have a different workspace that is more streamlined, that only looks at my market monitor and watchlist.
It is nice to save these different workspaces and just jump between them, rather than constantly adding and removing items from the program.
I am also building a workspace that I can use during the first 30-60 minutes of trading that will have some scans in it to look at the morning's movers. But once I'm done with that each day I can just save it off and switch to my Trading workspace, which should be just as I left it yesterday.
