Going looong here. Nice volume and no earnings until the middle of next month.
I'm hoping for a cross above 200ma.

I like their clothes. It's a nice store. I think Kohls or J.C. Penney are pretty good long plays.

Wow look at that. Even though it's got good fundamentals, it keeps going down even further. And the moral of the story is: never consider a stock unless it's above the 200MA. :)

I was looking at the S&P 500 at stockcharts, and for the last 3 years, its 200MA has been steadily going up and the S&P has been bouncing off of it in "waves"... Is there another "wave" coming?

I belive the real rewards in JCP will be seen in the 4th qtr earnings baring a market tumble. With school just beginning and Christmas sales right around the corner: This is the best part of the year for JCP! IMO, I have watched this stock and there charts for some time now. I say this is a good oppertunity.
