What is more concerning than that to me, is the powers Congress has seemingly given themselves over the years, and that they share no blame.

This used to be a hell of a good country, that was until the government decided to step into peoples business,whenever there is a world changing incident (like 9/11 for ex), the govt seems to use it as an excuse to crush individual freedom. I dont have political affiliations, i lean towards right and i lean towards left, but nothing can justify the secret laws which now permits FBI to tap our phones without a judicial order, or that our bank accounts can be snooped without even informing the banks!
I recall this incident while working for a NGO a couple of years back, 2 central/south american convicts in a Texas prison were given death sentences in a very sketchy trial, the consulates of the foreign individuals were not granted complete access, and when those nations appproached the UN - the UNHRA issued a sanction against the executions and to allow consular access to the convicts, only for the state of TX to overlook all this and went ahead and executed those 2 foreign individuals anyways. It made me think how close we are now to countries like China/Saudi Arabia etc when it comes to human rights and individual liberties.

I think its about time this country recognizes a dire need for a third front, which can provide us a governance without actually destroying liberties or human dignities. After the disastrous 8 years which pummeled our nations image in the rest of the world, i had expected something better from Obama, looks like we are gonna have more of the same ,the only difference being it will now be endorsed by a bunch of jobless lawyers aka senators!

They were on the ''freeway''; if I recall, that stretch of road has been offered up to the New World Order North American Union line from South America to Canada by the shadows, courteous of Fox, Bush and Canadian bacon. The nature of the truth is defined as the sustaining principle, it is the victorious Cause that suffers the lose, overcomes and with mercy, restores order. The perfect principle is defined risen in agreement, it is the call of virtue among the chosen, that being, the truth has no choice but to be the source that sustains cause as the Cause. The New World Order mentality is the basis for the contemporary shadow of death, that being the peace offer cloaked with deception, defined by unconstitutional action like MCA 2006 which suspended liberty, freedom and justice for all.
