I'm liking this one. The 52 week high is $17.14 so after today's jump might still be a good entry point at 5.15 for a good short or long term trade.

Long-term I'm confident it is a respectable investment. After all, it's tied to feeding a country where 1.9 billion people are acquiring a taste for meat.
Short-term it needs to take a breather. It opened the week at $4.18 and as you mentioned closed at $5.15 for a weekly run of 23.2% on no news or earnings surprises. Without such a catalyst I'm cautious.
Here's something supporting the long term thesis from Seeking Alpha:

also look at GRO. Agria is more of a seed company, like a "Chinese Monsanto". But same long-term secular growth play.
Textbook 3-day pullback to 20-DMA, then blastoff. I don't think it will be under $2 again for a while.

The 7 and 8 million share days back in March and April were igniting moves, but the 8 million share day today is an exhaustion move in my opinion. Watch for the rollover now.
Company is not worth 6 times as much today as it was 2 months ago.

I was lucky to get in on this a couple weeks ago thanks to a recommendation by aiki. Interesting commentary here:
That link was broken. You can find the video at the top of the news list here http://www.finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=FEED
I'm not going to make a trade based on that. My position in FEED is pretty small anyway, and what that guy says about FEED seems to be pure speculation to me.

Whats with the agro stocks this week? They've all been real laggards from the past few days,FEED,GRO,COIN have all been real snails. With the inflation looming large, i thought agro would be one sector that could set the house on fire..am i wrong in my assumption?

Assuming we get the inflation you're talking about I'll say you're correct in your assumption long-term. However, short-term, these things need to take a breather as does the whole damn market. Everything has been on fire for 3 months straight with barely a break in between trading sessions. A 5-10% correction would do us all some good. I'm not saying that is what is going on here but just it would serve to make the market a little more healthy

Yeah, i guess that makes sense. But having said that, we were most definitely over sold as well, also, compared to some of the asian markets, the 43% bounce back that we've seen from the bottom seems pretty meager,HangSeng is up almost 74%,Sensex is up a whooping 90%,SSE is up 65% and STI is up almost 70%,then again, the asian countries have better fundamentals than we do at this point i'd think, which probably explains why they have performed 50% better than we have so far.
