I have been looking for my entrance into the market ever since I missed it in March. What are some long term holdings worth looking into.

Also are the charts showing a pullback should I wait to get in?

stocks like ge, xom, bp

what stocks and undervalued for a long term holder?

I'll post my long term suggestions and reasons.

Best Buy- with circuit city pushed out they have a larger market share.

Johnson and Johnson- as drug patents expire, J&J holds the most over the counter drugs which don't require patents.

John Deere- as construction/home building is down, JD loses money from equipment rental. A boost in there areas means a boost for JD.

Bank of America- unlike citi, no talks about reverse splits. BAC also wants to repay the TARP and is raising a lot of capital.

Research In Motion- had their best earnings report in company existence during the recession. They continue to be a giant in the mobile technology business.

Oracle- strong tech company that is making enormous profits as well as paying dividends.

There are many more that I have, but I just picked these because, with the exception of BAC, they are the least risk. Hope this helps.
