This is a misleading stat to me...again NEWBIE ALERT!
Say stock ABC closes at $4.00 and opens the next morning at $4.93...it's immediately +.93, pretty good & everybody's happy but then all day it goes back and forth tanking and ends up at say $4.52. Okay for the day it's +.52 but really to me not such a great day even though everybody on CNBC will be saying how good it was...well if you weren't in on it from the day before that is. Just talking.
