Now, imagine if Russia used the same reasoning to attack us as we did Iraq via the provisions of the UN. The US and UK decided that Iraq was a threat to national security and decided they didn't have to abide by the UN rules that require a vote by the council before any action can be taken. I'm not saying that they will or that it is their intent, just talking aout how other countries could use the same logic as our government.
