Did the CIA ever set up secret prisons at any other time? In previous wars? Or is this just a G. Bush thing?

I would bet they have been doing it for a long time, especially the "Special Rendition" stuff. It does seem the current administration with its penchant for secrecy and its cavalier attitude towards constitutionality is particularly egregious

Your probably right. Once 9/11 took place you almost had to know that some sneaky stuff was going to take place with guys like Cheney and Rumsfeld in office. Does Bush go down in history as our worst President to date?
