Seems like folks are just starting threads to be starting threads. At least that's the case in looking over the past couple weeks! Been out on business often and just getting back into some screen time.

my favorite part is the weekly stock game. Lots of good picks there to research but I for one do not add much for sure b/c I am learning

There are a few things going on at once. We just switched URLs and only about a third of our pages have been switched over in Google's index. This may take another week or two, and we will have our pagerank back to where we get the same traffic we were getting before. Also, the 10 days leading up to Memorial Day, and then the following few weeks, are always slow as people enjoy the great outdoors. That's why the TV seasons end now. That's also why I chose to make the change when I did. However, we are going to buy some advertising over the next few days to get things cooking here - I agree, that the participation is low, even with a reduction in traffic of about 20% there should be more interesting discussions. Anybody know what happened to Chinaman, he just disappeared about 2 weeks ago?

I understand Thierry, just seems like alot of new threads with little discussion. I wonder if folks are getting shaken out?

new threads, with little discussion are probably new investors like me. Were learning all the lingo and ins/outs of trading, so we don't have much to say but ask questions.
I've started many threads with little or no responses. Sorry if there short and to the point, but I don't write novels dude

Don't have to write novels, but there are novels worth OF THE KNOWLEDGE MAN, if you read the previous posts. Maybe do a search? It's all out there.

This is a "Online Traders Forum" where "traders & investors share ideas" isn't it??
So thats what I do....put my ideas out there and wait for the "know -it-alls" to respond.
And I don't see myself going through 10,793 threads with 67,119 post....not going to happen!! Although I have looked through A LOT of them.
And please don't insult my intelligence...I know how to search the internet, this is just one of many avenues of obtaining THE KNOWLEDGE ;)

Maybe it's just a case of sell in May and go away. I think most internet forums slow when summer starts.

Also, just missing someone like chinaman is enough to create a gap, I believe he is the member with the most posts. Supposed to be back next week. I looked, and the number of posts every day is about the same, so I think there just isn't a lot of excitement in the air right now, as people are wheeling out the BBQs.

I believe he means the search function available on this site, not searching the entire internet. Use it and love it.
