while playing around with a stock screener tonight, I came across CASY.
I think this one looks nice for a swing.
maybe on a dip to $25.50 or so...imo
earnings in a few weeks...their making a killing on gas prices
anyone who lives in the midwest states that could give us some input about this company...

Refineries make a killing on high gas prices with (relatively) low oil prices, gas stations, contrary to popular opinion make very little on gas, especially when rbob rises quickly.

I am with Thierry on the TA, if the mighty CASY crosses resistance there will be joy in mudville.

Good company based out of Ankeny Iowa. Competing with Kum N Go. Small stores, but they dot every small town and sell food (pizza and fried foods).
Low daily volume stock.
Aiki is absolutely right on retail gas profits.....too competitive to feel the profit....actually hurts as people scale back on gas purchases, they pay less visits to the stores. Money maker is food and convenience items. After shoving $70 to fill the ol' pick em up truck, not a lot left for that box of donuts and yoohoo soda for farmer bob. My $.02
If you are looking for a "swing", it is at the top of the channel. You may just get that swing if you are looking down. :)

Casey's General Stores' April Gasoline Sales Up 2.4% >CASY
not much...but to a small chain, it might be good
