Tim Strazzini is gone from the show. I wonder if he was fired or just quit? Maybe his boss wanted him to spend more time at work and less time on TV. Anyway, his insights on the show will be missed.

How do you know he is gone for good? I am out of town and missed the show yesterday. Did they make an announcement? And is Najarian the long term replacement?

I didn't hear exactly why he was leaving. Dylan spoke about him not being on the show really fast. They didn't give a reason for him not being there. I beleive Dylan said he might be on in the future. They took his bio info off of the Fast Money site though.

..since thierry combined the boards, i guess all the other stuff was lost...
i dont care much for either najarian. additionally i really liked strazzini, my second fav regular trader after adami. i could see his rambling style being criticized in a tv format- for shame thinking in something other then sound bites. but i dont think straz has a boss (unless maybe the wife) hopefully he just got tired of the super long days and time away from his family. or maybe he saw the idea of four traders talking their book every night might eventually come into a problem. either way, i think the show lost some quality with his departure.

I thought Strazzini was the man. I also agree he works for no one,He is at the top of the game! He opted out of this show IMO its just not his style.
As far as his replacement I think they thought it was time for a female cast member, IMO they made a good choice. There will be some heat released about the time she gets the feel for the show! She is not on common ground at this time. Just give her untill Sept. and watch. Nice replacement choice.

Typical BSNBC crap imo; style over substance, it doesn't matter what they say as long as they look good doing it. I don't know who it is they are replacing him with, but I'd be willing to bet it's the typical network eye candy routine.

The real reason....Strazzini was the only straight guy on the show
I remember when Strazzini insulted Herb and was reprimanded by Dylan, then Dylan turned and apologized/eulogized Herb right then, the others on the show giggled but you could tell they were shocked and taken back as well. I then told my wife that Strazzini will be gone in a few weeks, not right away because that would cause talk, but over a few weeks or a month they would drop him.
Strazzini basically said Herb was a looser when it came to stocks. It was embarrassing for me as a viewer, a totally unacceptable comment.
BTW, I liked Strazzini, but was offended by his insult to Herb.

i've never cared much for herb even back to the cramer days. (has herb EVER had a call that made money? or even not lost money?) i remember the night rich mentions. instead of feeling bad for herb, i was wondering why it took so long for anyone to mention it. i was only surprised that the most soft spoken, premeditated trader on the desk was the one with the brass to mention it. additionally it cemented in my mind the difference between a profitable money manager/ trader and a journalist. one makes money from a story, the other makes money telling the story. best wishes.

That's what you bring for your first post? For your second can you tell us if different color paint chips taste different?

Haha, now here's a good example of different interpretations; I was thinking that he meant straight as in honest, I never even thought about the other connotation.
Knowing the way people are in general, you're probably on the right track.

Wow, Things have changed around here!
I noticed strazz not on show and I remember watching that night he called herb an idiot.
I was new to the show just a few months prior being a newbie invest since end 06.
I thought Tim kinda had the fish out of water, compared to the others
but @ that moment he told herb he is an idiot Tim became my favorite on that show.
His opinions will be missed!

I didn't realize that he was off the show, I just assumed he was on vacation or something. I liked him because he is different than everyone else on the show and I thought he made the show better. Pete isn't too bad I guess
