What to buy? XOM / CVX / GSK / PFE / MSFT

I would liek to pik up a stock that will give me soem growth in the medium term. I want somehting that is not a quick hit but more a gradual growth to high growth stock that I can expect to see a good return on within the next 3 months.

Which on the list look good?

I have heard rumors that XOM/MSFT & PFE are all sittign on huge money stockpiles and that investors want them to use the money via paying dividends or by usign it to purchase otehr companies or grow the buisness. Any ideas?


And GSK took a dive yesterday dow nto my low level alart point so I am thinking they could be a good buy.????????

From your list I like CVX the best. You might want to look at HAL or MO too. Buy them when they dip. :)

I got some CHK now, doing very well for me...up over 5% in a week...Swing trade till next earnings in July.

I think GSK would be risky here due to the recent bad news, let it settle a few more days than you'd be good for a quick corrction up in price. MSFT is a sideways dog, not a growth stock. XOM and CVX are riding the rise in oil, do you think that rise will last with elections around the corner? If so, maybe look at COP, cheaper multiple with exposure in same area. PFE trading range is narrowing, but if it breaks 28, itll go up a few points

I like MSFT the best if you are holding for 3 months. PFE for a year or more.

I think Vista will give this stock a pop in your time frame. Don't forget the Xbox.

i like MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. if all the legal law suits go down, this stock is $90-100 price stock.. also got good dividend 4%.

might look at KFT Kraft, could move up another $3-4 in next 3-6 months. also have good dividend of 4%.
