I have been leery of communications and fiber optic recommendations Cramer has made in the past, Finisar, and JDSU just haven’t panned out to do anything. I have been on the sidelines with LVLT, after the beating they have taken this might be one of those out of favor broken stocks, not broken company with ideas.
Could start a position tomorrow, try to see if it will dip any more to the $5.30 range, tell me if I am crazy.

Also hold FCX for some time, my original position was in the high 40’s. If they report $16 a share…holy smokes, it already is trading around a 10 P/E, making it 4.5 would more than cut it in half! Upcoming earnings could expose the true value since they combined with Phelps Dodge. As a bench mark, most of the other mining companies that I track trade in the high teens to low 20’s for P/E.
I should double my original position, possibly double if I add to it.

or just that CEO is taking medical leave and shareholders dont like him???

i got back in at $4.82-4.90 when it drop down 52 wk low.
also got some at $5.30 before the dip.

I also own some LVLT. Not a lot but I plan to hold it for a year because I think the stock will double by next year when bandwith runs out. This stock is a traders paradise. Buy at 5.20 or lower and sell when it runs .50 or .60 cents. keep doing this and you can make some mad money!

i know about them with bandwidth(backbone of internet) lately they have been b big player in the internet infrastructure. I make quick trade on my 2K(sold at $5.25/ buy at 4.82: and got back in at $5.05)
once dust settledowns, will hold few shares for long term...

I have some LVLT. It's really swimming against the tide today in a way that it hasn't done so before now. I was looking for some news but other than the CEO taking some sick time, I couldn't find anything. I'm tempted to buy some more with this strength as it sort of seems like something is going on.

I played in the weekly game hoping to piggy back off good news from Cisco. Maybe that's what's pushing the stock. But Foundry networks should get the same positive spin and that's down with everything else.

i am lost as why LVLT is up when the market is taking beating today.
last few days, when the market was down, LVLT follow the same trend as market but not today.....

if the market turns around tomorrow, should move up to mid $5.50-5.75
see what happens..

Kind of hard to figure out LVLT these days. I missed the under 5 oppertunity to add to that position, oh well. Volume is slowly ramping up to.
I guess the CSCO quarter, people wanting to be in tech, and their last quarter wasn't that bad seems to be working.

BTU was another anomoly on a down 387 day.

stock dips to 5.10 and bounce back to postive....
I guess MM and specialist and day traders got nothing to so they probably trading with each other?? instead of scratching their "hairy" butts???

just image if the market every turn around, this one should pop above $6...
