I bought into this a while back, just because I thought it'd be cool to say I made some money off pirate gold.

Guess what. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070518/ap_on_re_us/treasure_ship)

So for all you people who are a lot better at this than I am, when should I get out?

The company likely has a lot of debts to settle and many costs involved in bringing the loot from the bottom to the market. It might be that once everyone crunches the numbers, the valuation may drop some, not to mention that once they are done with this haul the growth prospects return to longshot status, imo.

Maybe you should consider putting a trailing stop in, congrats on a nice haul.

I should have added that you may want to research how the booty typically gets split up by looking at other ventures like Mel Fisher.

Don't we all.

I decided to sell.

It's probably also worth dumping it now while the market is euphoric over it...

Of course, it could keep going up, but what the hell. Getting out after a one-day 60% gain is still a damn good move, regardless of what happens next.

And anyway...pirate gold!

I would get out immediately, and buy it back cheaper if you want to keep playing.

I would stay in for at least 1 to 2 weeks longer. The more press the higher the stock will go. I have owned this stock since 2003. I have made money on this stock before. The next ship they will dig will be even larger. These guys know their business. This stock could go to $15.00
