Patience is probably one of the strongest attributes most good investors and traders all have . Don't chase stocks that have run up so quickly. Most of them will usually pull back giving you a much better chance of making money in the long run. Just look at JSDA. That stock was as hot as they come. It recently peaked at $32. You can now buy it at around $20-$21. Wait for the sales and buy those dips.

Tony and Buy, you are RIGHT on the target in descibing me and I'm sure many others. I get all excited and get into trouble. Its like a drug with me!! Seriously, an impulsive behaviour that causes me to become insane until I see it plumit, then the next day I do the same thing over again!

A lot of trading success comes from learning about yourself and the psychology behind your trading.

Try looking at a lot of different charts of stocks that have appreciated nicely over the last 6-12 months, you'll see a lot of dips and pullbacks on the way to new highs. It might put things in perspective for you when a holding isn't doing well.

If you're daytrading or short term swingtrading then this won't help as you should have a plan for entry and exit and stick by it. If you are doing longer term swingtrades or investments though, as long as the overall market remains in bull mode with new highs every week you might want to be more tolerant of the inevitable dips (assuming you are staying with equities that have solid fundamentals) ONT however is pure spec and not suited to your current psychology, you are allowing yourself to get caught up in the internet message board hype, this is very dangerous.

I'm long on ONT and I see the increase in institutional holdings as a good sign. Well tied in with Adobe and Flash. Just wait until video hits phones... booyah IMO. GLTA
