I decided to sell my stagnant biotech stock and purchase Big Lots!. They have zero debt, good fundamentals, good technicals, and I was thinking as consumer look to save money given the rise in fuel prices, slump in the housing and automotive sector, people will look for cheaper alternatives. That and Big Lots! sale store sales are up (only 4%, but I'm still countingt it). Anyways I don't expect this one to triple or quadruple my investment, but the risk seemed small and the return looks highly probable. What do you think? Did I make the right choice?
Just thought I'd run it through the brain-trust after I lost ~10% in AMD.
