We were talking about the mass media and how it brainwashes people...
due to that they think the bad news in economy is BS....ROFL
look at the fuckin markets, the amount of money the FED is printing...teh amount of DEBT we have, how we havent even really started in our depression...how the media is not reporting ENOUGH news on how bad it really is....or am i the stupid one

If this is a senior class, somebody is gonna get a serious reality shock in a few months when they look for work.

Just take your class to visit any of the local shopping malls. It's a very eerie atmosphere. I recently visited a local Home Depot one evening around 7pm. Not a customer in the store except me. They didn't have any cashiers either, just the automated ones. It felt very strange.

yeah this is a freshman class, but i was like wow....this is college.....and usually when the majority thinks one thing..the minority will often go with the marjority, but Ive been doing my research on Bernanke and what hes doing so im like theres no way the world is NOT in a economic crisis/

Don't take it personally, it's just one of my peeves that there is an entire generation that cannot express a thought, feeling, or opinion without copious use of the word "like."

Nothing just is anymore as half my peers drop similies in the fashion of dim-witted Shakespeares.
